Working at FirstService Residential (FSR) was an invaluable experience I would recommend to any students interested in Real Estate and the intersection of law and business in the condominium management industry. The relaxed corporate culture of FSR was integral to fostering a positive work environment where quality projects could be proposed, flushed out, and collaboratively completed by many different FSR staff coming from various educational and cultural backgrounds. Furthermore, working alongside the President, VP Finance, and Director of Energy and Sustainability provided me with great insight into how the condominium management industry functions, and illustrated how even interns can provide a fresh new perspective that is valued by the FSR community. I am extremely grateful for the opportunity to have worked alongside some of the condominium management industry’s best and brightest minds, and I hope that other interns at FSR will be able to take as much from the FSR internship experience as I did.
