The Hennick Centre for Business and Law participates in conferences, seminars and symposia throughout the year on various topics of business, law and public policy.
Conferences and gatherings like these bring together experts in their respective fields and allow students to participate in panel discussions and presentations that shed light on policy debates, emerging trends and recent scholarship.
The Centre often participates in conference events jointly with other organizations and affiliates, such as:
- A full-day conference on sustainable capitalism with McKinsey & Company and the Schulich School of Business.
- A half-day seminar on Gender Diversity in Canada’s Boardrooms and C-Suites with the Institute for Feminist Legal Studies at Osgoode Hall Law School.
- Various events with Osgoode Professional Development including a program on the transformative role of general counsel in the global legal profession.
- A policy consultation and resulting report, Corporate Social Reporting Initiative, with Jantzi-Sustainalytics.
