Student Volunteers

The Hennick Centre for Business and Law organizes speaker lectures and events on topics of business, law and public policy throughout the year.  At such programs, students, practitioners and scholars come together to learn about emerging trends, cutting-edge research, policy reforms and business deals.

The Centre also hosts a speaker series and LunchWith series in collaboration with the JD/MBA Student Association that bring distinguished scholars, alumni and practitioners to York University.  Many of our speaker, lecture, and academic events always welcome student volunteers to help with the organization and/or the event itself.

Our students also quite often propose to join forces with the Centre to co-host a fabulous event.

Fun Fact:  The Osgoode Venture Capital Clinic was once the idea of our students, who worked hard to turn their idea into reality, today it is a thriving clinic that works in partnership with Wildeboer Dellelce LLP employing over 20 students annually !!
